My counselling approach is Systemic, which values the role you play in relationship with others while at the same time explores feelings such as anxiety, loneliness, bereavement, and loss, emerging from these relationships. I’ll invite you to look at patterns of behavior which might be hindering your path to healing while at the same nurturing your existing skills and resources.
Alongside my undergraduate degree, I completed further studies in Solution Focused Therapy & Motivational Interviewing; Working with Dissociative Personality Disorder and Disorganized Attachment; Working with Shame and Relational Trauma and Working with Suicide and Self-Harm, Trauma Therapy and very recently I completed a Certificate in Working With Couples.
Once a week and for a few years now, I work as a Staff Counsellor with a Bristol based Charity aimed at Sexual and Domestic Abuse Survivors.
I am registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (B.A.C.P.) and abide by their code of ethics.
I am fully insured and hold an up-to-date DBS.
